BNP Paribas is establishing its new Lisbon headquarters in two buildings located in the Exeo Office Campus in Parque das Nações, comprising around 38,000 m2. The new headquarters will accommodate over 5,000 employees under a flexible working model, centralising the majority of the existing BNP Paribas entities in Lisbon in one place and reinforcing the Group ‘s long-term commitment to Portugal. The two office buildings are being developed by a joint venture between Avenue and BNP Paribas Real Estate for a turn key development. The project establishes itself as a modern, innovative, and highly technological architectural programme, combining architecture and landscaping. lt will also be a public space, with its gardens and common infrastructures open to the community.
The scheme, co-developed with Therus lnvest and scheduled for completion in 2022, lies at the heart of the new high-tech hub in Madrid. From the outside, Alcalá 546 complex seems to float above the street thanks to its crisp, yet airy lines. This lightness is evident from the very first moments inside Alcalá 546. The reception area sets the tone with its carefully selected materials, soft shades and designer furniture. Meanwhile, 10,500 m2 of premium offices in the neighbouring building (Alcalá 544) will likely appeal to ambitious occupiers looking for a strategic and connected address, at the heart of a new hub dedicated to innovation. The building will have convivial spaces, a roof terrace offering an unobstructed view over Quinta Torre Arias park, as well as other services catering to occupiers’ well-being.
Just a stone’s throw from the Gothic cathedral Il Duomo, the famous Via Della Spiga and Via Montenapoleone, the district of Porta Romana is being revitalised by the 14,000m2 Horti project. Its acquisition by BNP Paribas saw new life breathed into the building thanks to the skillful work of architect Michele De Lucchi. The Horti project is rehabilitating three historic buildings previously occupied by the Little Sisters of the Poor. The original features have been preserved, including magnificent vaulted cellars. Buildings were converted into a residential complex, including six townhouses and modern flats. The history of these emblematic structures has been kept intact, while adapting to new ways of living. The historic garden is being restored and preserved, and can be used by citizens during the day.
